A native of the Twin Cities,

Emily is a charismatic, versatile vocalist with a passion for all music. She can work a song and a crowd, capturing an audience with her sincerity and warm approach. No matter the performance, Emily brings a heartwarming voice, persona, and a funky style.

 

Along with her career as a singer, Emily has a great passion for arts education. A Teaching Artist with Youth Performance Company, Ashland Productions, Stages Theatre Company, Lakeshore Players, and SteppingStone Theater for Youth Development, she teaches devising, songwriting, audition prep, and vocal based workshops. Emily also works as a freelance vocal coach and music director. Her committed, caring, and positive attitude shine through her work in education. Emily maintains a private vocal studio in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and focuses on technique, repertoire and performance analysis with her students.

 

Emily graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from McNally Smith College in December 2013.
